Accessibility
This covers whatsupin.ai, the page where you pick a city, and the city sites it links to, all built and operated by whatsupin.ai. Each city site also has its own accessibility page, linked from its footer and menu.
Our target
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA: everything usable with a keyboard and a screen reader, text contrast of at least 4.5:1 in the light and dark theme, no sideways scrolling at 200% zoom or on a 320-pixel-wide screen, and no motion when your system asks for reduced motion. Each change is checked with automated tests (axe-core) at desktop and phone sizes in both themes, plus a keyboard check.
Known limitations
- “Find the nearest city” needs your browser’s location permission. Without it, the list stays in its usual order (live cities first, alphabetical) and every city is still one link away.
- The city sites’ map view (beta): its pins can’t be reached with the keyboard or a screen reader yet; the same events are in their Cal and List views. Details are on each city’s accessibility page.
Tell us about a barrier
If something here doesn’t work for you, contact us at [email protected]. Tell us the page, what you were trying to do, and the browser and assistive technology you use, if any. We read every message, and accessibility problems go to the front of the line. We’ll reply as soon as we can and tell you what we’re doing about it.
