Use What's Up In in your AI assistant
What's Up In is a free MCP server for upcoming local events in every city we cover. Add it once and ask your assistant things like “what’s on in Seattle this weekend?”, “free comedy near Silver Lake tonight” or “where is Khruangbin playing this fall?”. It is read-only, needs no account or sign-in, and every event links to its original listing.
Server URL (Streamable HTTP):
https://whatsupin.ai/mcp
Add it
- Claude (claude.ai, desktop and mobile): Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector. Name it What's Up In, paste the URL above, and choose no sign-in.
- Claude Code:

- Gemini, Cursor, VS Code and other MCP clients: add a remote (HTTP) MCP server with the URL above.
It is also listed in the official MCP Registry as ai.whatsupin/events.
